About the event
Understanding the human life course requires a holistic view of the biosocial factors that influence and shape an individual’s life experience over time. Gaining insight into the mechanisms that govern social, cultural, environmental, and biological dimensions of life is essential for promoting interventions that improve longevity, enhance well-being, and create more equitable socioeconomic conditions.
The Genomic Exchange Community (geXc) Life Course Symposium, co-hosted by the University of British Columbia, is a one-day research conference designed to bring together trainees, faculty, and community members to explore aging and life course through cutting-edge molecular technology. The symposium will cover a range of topics, including single-cell and spatial technologies, multi-omic approaches, advances in sequencing, and data analysis.
